After upgrading my Linux distribution I found the output of IDJC to be much quieter than before and the balance between pieces with and without replay gain information to be changed. In the preferences, the "Replay Gain" section is now called "Player Loudness Normalisation" and also has more and different settings. Could somebody enlighten me on what exactly the new settings are doing and what the difference to the old ones is? »Untagged« obviously seems to correspond to the old »Unmarked tracks assumed gain value«. Does it do exactly the same? What about the rest?

I second this statement. Hoping to hear from the developers soon on this issue. I am especially interested in what R128 means or controls. This seems to me the crux of this section.
