Bugs item #607267, was opened at 2002-09-10 13:29 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=607267&group_id=31 Category: icewm-1.2 Group: behavior Status: Open >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Assigned to: Marko Macek (captnmark) Summary: Logout does not work correctly in 1.2.2 Initial Comment: In IceWM 1.2.2 the logout command does not work correctly. I must execute it twice. I use GKrellM. First logout -> GKrellM is closed. Second logout -> IceWM exits. In 1.2.0, the behaviour was correct: Logout closed IceWM and GKrellM, too, after choosing the logout item once. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2002-09-12 12:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 This has been fixed in current CVS already (module icewm-1-2, branch icewm-1-2-BRANCH) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Zajic (zlatk0) Date: 2002-09-10 19:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=150806 Yes, you're right. Seems like I closed GKrellM by hand before trying to shut down the first time I checked. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bernhard Walle (bwalle) Date: 2002-09-10 17:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=302109 It doesn't work here. I have the same behaviour when I start GKrellM in ~/.xinitrc and in ~/.icewm/startup. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Zajic (zlatk0) Date: 2002-09-10 13:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=150806 Same problem here. I found a workaround, though: I moved the things I started in ~/.xinitrc to a separate script in ~/.icewm/startup (see CHANGES and points 3 and 3.1 in icewm's help). After this change, logout works as usual. Bug or feature? I know that ~/.icewm/startup is a feature, but it shouldn't break the "old" way, IMHO. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=607267&group_id=31 |
