Bugs item #420404, was updated on 2001-05-01 02:09 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=420404&group_id=31 >Category: icewm-1.0 >Group: wishlist Status: Open >Resolution: Fixed >Priority: 3 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Assigned to: Mathias Hasselmann (massel) Summary: some comments Initial Comment: Hello, I'm using icewm 1.0.8-5 and here are some comments: 1. Minimize-all: a. It would be most usefull to assign a key to it! b. it appears in the windows-list only when clicking the right mouse button on empty-space (not on a application's title) c. It appears in the taskbar only when when clicking the right mouse button on empty-space. So options b & c are usually not availabe (or atleast hard to use) when there are some applications running and the taskbar is full. so the easy & best solution is option a... 2. Is resizing the window (after selecting that option using either the keyboard or the mouse) only possible using the keyboard arrow keys? How about alt-ctrl-rmb, similar for 'window move' alt-ctrl-lmb? 3. Is it possible to halt/reboot even when using Gnome? right now icewm exits to Gnome logout dialog. It would be nice to halt down anyway, (though we have the option of assigning 'poweroff' to a key). I know this means losing the current gnome-session, but still... 4. Is there a way not to display kde menus at all? right now we have the option to display them in the main menu, or in a sub menu... 5. I've made my 'menu' file empty, and toggled gnome- apps & gnome-user-apps to be true. Seperators appear in the top of the menu (I guess to seperate from the menus in the 'menu' file, but I have none), and also before the kde-sub-menu. I'm not sure they should... (better try to see what I mean) Thanks, Liav Asseraf ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mathias Hasselmann (massel) Date: 2001-05-05 20:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=7017 5.) Fixed in CVS, there should be no separator anymore when "menu" is empty. 4.) CVS contains new options: ShowGNOMEAppsMenu, ShowGNOMEUserMenu, ShowKDEMenu 3.) GNOME 1.2's logout dialog has a shutdown button and with ConfirmLogout=0 the session manager's dialog is display intermediatly. So what's the problem? 2.) Uh... Does this make sense? Maybe for borderless themes.....? 1.) Window list is fixed, and we have hotkeys now. Maybe I should undefine them by default? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=420404&group_id=31 |
