First I expected it to be a problem with the picture file itself, but I could not find any, the background (transparent) color was displayed okay. The problem also did not appear with in the icewm configuration without --enable-antialiasing. Then I replaced the problematic icons with other contents and noticed that the problem only appears for menu folders. Read: the transparent background appears as gray if (and only if) with menu folders, and the icon file is named folder_... AND antialiasing is enabled. Regards, Eduard. PS: here is the config: --with-imlib --disable-menus-gnome1 --disable-menus-gnome2 --prefix=/usr --with-cfgdir=/etc/X11/icewm --datadir=/usr/share --disable-debug --enable-i18n --enable-nls --enable-antialiasing --enable-shaped-decorations --enable-gradients --with-mkfontdir=/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir --enable-guievents --with--esd-config=/usr/bin/esd-config ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-05-23 20:26 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 the bug you've submitted has been fixed in the new IceWM version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Adam Pribyl (covexx) Date: 2004-05-04 22:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=607018 Confirming fixed. I do not see problems described bellow anymore. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eduard Bloch (thefirstone) Date: 2004-05-04 08:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=935104 the bug you've submitted has been fixed in the new IceWM version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eduard Bloch (thefirstone) Date: 2004-05-04 08:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=935104 Indeed, fixed in CVS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Zajic (zlatk0) Date: 2004-05-04 08:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=150806 Seems to be fixed here as of pre13 or pre14. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-05-04 07:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 is this still a problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Adam Pribyl (covexx) Date: 2004-04-08 12:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=607018 Hmm.. I see a problem here. When you set MenuIconSize=48 (whatever >16) the icons allways look like resized from 16x16 -> 48x48 and bigger icons are never used even they exist. The interesting part of it is, that even when I explicitely point to file with icon in size 48x48 then it also looks like resized from 16x16 -> 48x48 and resolution is lost somehow. This happens with or without --enable-antialiasing. Maybe it is not caused by this fix, I'm not sure, but 1.2.14pre12 is OK in this way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Adam Pribyl (covexx) Date: 2004-04-07 09:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=607018 Seems much better to me.. at least I DO NOT see problems like on this picture: http://bbs.cvut.cz/~covex/icewm/icewm-1.2.14pre12.png what's missing? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Marko Macek (captnmark) Date: 2004-04-06 21:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1814 possible fix checked into CVS. but not perfect. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Zajic (zlatk0) Date: 2004-04-04 15:12 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=150806 Yes, same problem here (although I didn't even notice before :-). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=929204&group_id=31 |
