Hi I am embarking on a project at work during which I will try to make Rhino and HttpUnit act more like IE (as much as is neccessary to interact with certain websites). I haven't yet explored the documented differences between IE's JavaScript, and the JavaScript1.1 supported by Rhino, but I hope they are not unfathomable! This URL will take you to the patches which I have produced so far. http://hwi.ath.cx/twiki/bin/view/Neuralyte/HttpUnitExtensions Check the new class org.mozilla.javascript.JavaScriptExtensions, for a list of the added features. Probably of most interest in this first release, is the ability to pop-up the Rhino JS Debugger in parallel with your own HttpUnit session (as opposed to running it as a stand-alone application). If this feature was already supported, then I probably did it the wrong way! Disclaimer: Due to time limitations, I will only be producing quick hacks, not proper re-writes, but I hope they will still be useful. I would welcome any feedback / advice. Cheers, Joey. |
