Your example doesn't support that meaning. In your example the language-specific stuff needs to change when the language changes. It's not as often as the rest of the variables (presumably) but it's surely not just once. HTML::Template is fast enough that it doesn't seem like a worthwhile optimization versus the work it would take to implement. -sam |
