According to Franck Collineau: > I would like to index a server which is called "r-pc-vpc-svr". > If I set start_urls in htdig.conf with http://r-pc-vpc-svr, it's Ok. > > But i don't want to index all but only one folder. > > So I set in htdig.conf start_urls with http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier (the > folder). > When I launch rundig I have the following messages: > > [root@r-lx-collineau bin]# ./rundig -v > > New server: r-pc-vpc-svr, 80 > 0:0:0:http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier: not found > htmerge: Sorting... > htmerge: Removing doc #0 > DB2 problem...: missing or empty key value specified > > Deleted, no excerpt: 0/http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier ... > What is the problem ? I think that "http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier: not found" is pretty clear. This is the equivalent of a "404 Not Found" error in a web browser. The server can't find the URL you're specifying. Try one that works. If you need to specify a specific URL under http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier/ for your start_url, but then want to index any URL under that same directory (not limited to the specific URL you have to put in start_url), then you can set limit_urls_to to "http://r-pc-vpc-svr/courrier". -- Gilles R.
