Hi, We are using htdig for a web site that must be 508 compliant. In the mail archive, I found my question asked, but did not find an answer. (There was one answer from Tsjebbe de Vries but he misunderstood the question). http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=3D9533373 If there is an answer in the archive, please point me at it. If not, then, in the archive, Martin states his question well. But, I can add an html example for clarity. Here is an html snippet generated by htDig: <input type=3D"hidden" name=3D"exclude" value=3D""> Match: <select name=3D"method"> <option value=3D"and" selected>All <option value=3D"or">Any <option value=3D"boolean">Boolean </select> This form is not considered accessible to a blind person. To be accessible the select statement must contain an id that ties it to the label. <input type=3D"hidden" name=3D"exclude" value=3D""> <label for=3D"Match">Match: </label> <select name=3D"method" id=3D"Match"> <option value=3D"and" selected>All <option value=3D"or">Any <option value=3D"boolean">Boolean </select> This problem can be solved by having htdig generate an id that is identical to the name attribute. <select name=3D"method" id=3D"method">....</select> <select name=3D"format" id=3D"format"> <select name=3D"sort" id=3D"sort"> etc. etc. Then by looking at the generated html, one can determine the label to use. ie: <label for=3D"method">Match: </label> <label for=3D"format">Format: </label> <label for=3D"sort">Sort by: </label> Any help would be appreciated.
