The newer ones required an update of automake, autoconf, libtool... OK. I've done the updates. > But i still can't compile snapshots > htdig-3.2.0b4-20030720. The error i got from the current version htdig-3.2.0b4-20030817 is: > > [..] > _tr_flush_block 0x2ea0 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(deflate.o) > _tr_flush_block 0x3078 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(deflate.o) > zcfree 0x144 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(deflate.o) > zcfree 0x148 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(deflate.o) > zcfree 0x22c /usr/local/lib/libz.a(inflate.o) > zcfree 0x230 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(inflate.o) > inflate_set_dictionary 0xf2c /usr/local/lib/libz.a(inflate.o) > inflateInit2_ 0x3c4 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(inflate.o) > inflate_blocks_sync_point 0x11c0 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(inflate.o) > inflate_trees_dynamic 0x1874 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(infblock.o) > _tr_align 0x1024 /usr/local/lib/libz.a(deflate.o) > ld: fatal: relocations remain against allocatable but non-writable sections collect2: ld returned 1 exit status > gmake[2]: *** [libhtdb.la] Error 1 > gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/srv/verity/htdig/src/htdig-3.2.0b4-20030817/db' > gmake[1]: *** [all] Error 2 > gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/srv/verity/htdig/src/htdig-3.2.0b4-20030817/db' > gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 > > I've tried to compile on solaris2.8 and on gentoo linux, but without success. I had to run aclocal and autoconf in the /usr/src/htdig-whatever and /usr/src/htdig-whatever/db. I also receive this error message when compiling in the htlib directory. clib.h:45: error: declaration of C function `int vsnprintf(char*, unsigned int, const char*, ...)' conflicts with /usr/include/stdio.h:323: error: previous declaration `int vsnprintf(char*, unsigned int, const char*, char*)' here |
