Aha - htnotify, not htmerge. The short term solution is to comment out the call to htnotify in rundig. = If you're not planning on using the htnotify service, you're done. If you want to use htnotify, there's a patch: http://ftp.it.htdig.org/pub/htdig-patches/3.1.6/htnotifyNull.0 Neil Kohl Manager, ACP-ASIM Online =20 American College of Physicians - American Society of Internal Medicine nk...@ma... 215.351.2638, 800.523.1546 x2638 >>> Vic Engle <sun...@nc...> 02/28/03 03:16PM >>> The system was running out of swap. I added a swap file and now rundig=20 gets a bit further along before ending with the "Abort" message.=20 Monitoring processes when it fails I noticed htnotify was running and=20 consuming a GB of memory. /var/tmp has about 7gb available. Do you have = enough disk space in /var/tmp for a large sort? If not, tell sort to use = another directory on a partition with lots of free space. Setting TMPDIR = environment variable will cause htmerge to pass this to sort correctly as = -T option. > > >Neil Kohl >Manager, ACP-ASIM Online =20 >American College of Physicians - American Society of Internal Medicine >nk...@ma... 215.351.2638, 800.523.1546 x2638 > > > =20 > >>>>Vic Engle <sun...@nc...> 02/28/03 10:47AM >>> >>>> =20 >>>> >Hi, > >I'm trying to get htdig-3.1.6 working on Solaris8.
