Fixed.  HSQLDB 1.7.2 final will support spaces in SqlTool rc file 
values.  As
a temporary work-around until then, I suggest that you move your database
files to a directory whose path does not contain spaces.  After you 
upgrade to
1.7.2 final, you can move the database files back to the original 
location (and
make corresponding edits to the url).
