Unless there is a very high load of updates by multiple processes on huge tables as Karl pointed out, I suspect this just adds complexity for no gain and some loss of speed. Anyway, I'm pretty busy as you are. Lets leave further discussion of this topic until after the release of 1.7.0. I'm not discouraging Karl, he is welcome to continue his research and prototyping and I'm sure the results will be used when the time comes to move to nio. Fred |
