First tests are really encouraging. I haven't yet had any timeout, and the connection seems to be stable. I was slightly disappointed by the slow 40kB/s, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to expect more than that... (and I'm probably spoiled by the fast USB-connection;). Anyways: this patch should definitely go somehow into the buildroot (maybe as compile-option for now). // florian On Thursday 07 April 2005 04:44, Craig Hughes wrote: > If it works, I'll add it to svn (or merge it with the existing patches > there). > > Thanks Florian > > C > > On Apr 6, 2005, at 5:00 PM, Florian Loitsch wrote: > > I just adapted the patch to work with the already existing > > kernel-patches (my > > machine is still compiling, and the patch ist therefore still > > untested, but > > should work). > > Just drop it into your gumstix-buildroot/sources/kernel-patches > > directory and > > it should get applied automatically when building the kernel. > > I currently don't have my bluetooth usb-stix, and can't test the > > result, but > > if it works as advertised, I'll probably add a section to the > > wiki-pages too. > > // florian > > > > On Tuesday 05 April 2005 13:12, Henk Muller wrote: > >> I mailed a kernel patch out a week or two ago which puts bluetooth > >> back on > >> the BTUART.
