I am trying to login to the Gumstix via Bluetooth using serial port emulation, and have run across some problems. Here's what I did: On the Gumstix, I started the sdpd and registered the serial port service: sdpdtool add SP. No problems. On my linux box (running Fedora Core 3), I can browse the services on the 'stix, and also successfully ping the Gumstix, so I'm pretty certain a connection is established. Since /dev/rfcomm0 didn't exist, I used mknod to create it, and rfcomm to bind it to the Gumstix BT address. Still no problems. Now comes the problem. If I use kermit or minicom to login via the serial port, I get a connection refused message from /dev/rfcomm0, and I don't know why. A call to hcidump showed that the 'stix received the request to establish a connection, but immediately refused it. Any ideas as to what's going on? Is this a problem on my linux box, or a problem on the Gumstix? Thanks, Keith |
