Benny, Sorry for the delay getting back. 1) No-- the boards are well-behaved during a power ramp start-up. As I = recall, you have 2. Do they both behave this way? 2) We have not had others report this problem to date. 3) The gumstix management team has wrestled with defining the company as = an "open source hardware company" or a "hardware company supporting open source software." = Because of the future products we are planning to release, we concluded that we are the latter. The = gumstix business model is to make general purpose hardware available to open-source developers. Our = corollary conclusion was that our company's value proposition would be jeopardized by releasing = any "crown jewels". Therefore, we are not releasing the whole schematic for gumstix boards, = but will from time-to-time release portions of the schematic in a fashion that does not jeopardize = our ability to make really inexpensive, high-quality, hardware.
