Thank you! I can lower MPU rate now! Beside saving power by lowering MPU rate, I wish to physically make useless components sleep (like graphic card, voice card etc.) via Power Management. Thus, power consumption could be further reduced. I want to do this because in my application, I hope Gumstix with independent power source can work for a long period. 1. Poky Linux or Angstorm Linux contains such a Power Management Module? 2. Does a Linux Kernel Version contain such Power Management Module? 3. I found there is a TI OMAP patch might be useful. Is there any patch like OMAP that can apply to Poky Linux?(Which is the default image I compiled by Yocto.) -- View this message in context: http://gumstix.8.x6.nabble.com/Set-CPU-rate-tp4969412p4969435.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
