Sagar, I tried to install xapt, it does not find the libxml2-dev library So I will try the native compilation. Thank you Kris ________________________________ From: Sagar Behere <sag...@gm...> To: gum...@li... (ie libxml2) in general, ./configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabi I see from some old notes that I once cross-compiled libxml2 with CC=arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc ./configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabi which is pretty much the same thing. But once again, I must point out to you the advantages of using debian multiarch and xapt. It _will_ save you a lot of time. https://wiki.debian.org/EmdebianToolchain#Get_all_the_libraries_you_need If you follow that guide, all you need to do is xapt -a armel -m libxml2-dev Regards, Sagar > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > *From:* Greg Kogut <gk...@ya...> > *To:* kris duff <t_...@ya...>; General mailing list for gumstix > users. <gum...@li...> > *Sent:* Monday, August 26, 2013 2:35:18 PM > *Subject:* Re: [Gumstix-users] gumstix yocto crosscompile toolchain ? > > Kris, > > It is not difficult to compile and link for the ARM Cortex with gcc.
