Glad to see you got it working J Don't forget that the "Host" port is a high speed port only, so it may be too fast for your camera. There are specs somewhere for the port . Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] Streaming webcam with Gumstix Overo Fire It worked!! After I connect the powered hub into the OTG port, the 'lsusb' could finally recognize my hub as well as logitech QuickCam. Just don't understand why the HOST port still not working, but it's just a minor thing. Now is time for video streaming :) Thanks a lot for the help with USB issue guys, if anyone has video streaming related experience, please kindly share some hint with me :D James 2012/10/31 William Pretty Security <bil...@xp...> Looks like it should work . Good luck J From: James [mailto:kfc...@gm...] Sent: Tuesday, October 30, 2012 8:54 PM To: General mailing list for gumstix users. Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] Streaming webcam with Gumstix Overo Fire William, Thanks for your reply :) luckily I got the first one as a gift few years ago :D I've found another Powered HUB at my local area Craigslist, will find out how it works... This is how it looks like http://www.kensington.com/kensington/us/us/p/1505/K33935US/pockethub%E2%84%A 2-4-port-usb.aspx Hopefully the only issue is because of the non-powered HUB, really don't have time stuck in this USB mystery :( James 2012/10/30 William Pretty Security <bil...@xp...> IMHO: The first one is crap! I hope it was cheap :) I would use the second one. I have a setup here that powers both the Gumstix and the hub from the same 3A 5V adapter. -----Original Message----- From: kfcandroid [mailto:kfc...@gm...] Sent: Tuesday, October 30, 2012 8:23 PM To: gum...@li...
