Hi, I am trying to record audio from a USB microphone on the AirStorm board. However I cannot get any signal when I use arecord for recording sound. I tested the file on my computer to get no audio signal during playback. I tried to play an existing .wav file but I got no sound output either. The .wav file is confirmed working on another computer with working audio playback. I am using the command arecord -f cd -d 10 test.wav. The command will run for the 10 seconds and exit as if normally, but the clip itself contains no audio information. I have not installed any drivers/additional softwares on the gumstix. I was using the factory preinstalled Agstrom kernel (running opkg upgrade just now). Do I have to make any configuration changes/ install any drivers before I can get audio working? Or should arecord work out of the box? Thanks, Ameya -- View this message in context: http://gumstix.8.n6.nabble.com/Record-USB-Audio-on-Overo-AirStorm-Summit-board-tp4626661p4626661.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
