Also it seems you haven't changed your /bin/sh to use bash instead of dash as suggested in gumstix's tutorial: *Note: If you are using an Ubuntu distribution, it is likely that /bin/sh is linked to /bin/dash. If this is the case, then you will need to change /bin/sh to link to /bin/bash. Neglecting to do this will cause target system init file corruption and your build image will not boot! **Run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure dash" and answer no when asked whether you want to install dash as /bin/sh.* 2012/2/13 Theodore Morichau-Beauchant <t.b...@gm...> > Hi William, > > As the output of bitbake suggest, you need to install the following > additional packages: > diffstat,texi2html,makeinfo,chrpath > > On ubuntu, you can do that with the following command: > 'sudo apt-get install diffstat texi2html makeinfo chrpath' > > > 2012/2/13 William Pretty Security Inc <bil...@xp...> > >> Well Folks; >> >> Looks like it worked for Trevor. >> >> But not for me ... >> >> Here is what happened: >> >> bill@Vaio:~$ bitbake omap3-console-image >> NOTE: Psyco JIT Compiler (http://psyco.sf.net) not available.
