The Verdex SVN repository has not been recently updated. In fact, the build actually still works (I had to rebuild when I did a complete re-install of Ubuntu 11.04 a couple months ago) but bitrot has set in. There are some hurdles along the way which have mostly been discussed on this mailing list. If you get stuck and can't find any information about a particular error, certainly post it to the mailing list. > > What is the correct method of obtaining a functional build environment for > the Verdex Pro? There is also an experimental Git repo here: http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Verdex_Git_Repository Depending on what you need, it may be easier to ditch OE all together and just use a cross-compiler (sudo apt-get install gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi is my new favourite ;-). -Ash |
