Hi, I'm trying to get an environment set up where I can write code to run on my old gumstix connex 400xm. It seems the system it used when I purchased it has been retired and OpenEmbedded is what I need. I followed the instructions on the wiki and got to this step: bitbake gumstix-basic-image Running this gave repeated errors. Somewhere -Werror was set and so I had to edit multiple files to fix trivial, ignorable errors to get the build to continue. I finally got through these and I (literally) get several thousand lines of errors on "gmp-native-4.2.1-r2" of the form: | scanf/.libs/vsscanf.o: In function `__gmpz_set_q': | vsscanf.c:(.text+0x359): multiple definition of `__gmpz_set_q' It can't be this hard to get OE installed. What am I doing wrong? Is this packaged someplace so I'm not building the bleeding edge of the source? Garth |
