Just to update that issue, Still unable to access the web sites gumstix.net but since gumstix.org is up no need to this one anymore. Our ISP told us that this was or problem since without a router we were able to access the web site. But what more interested is that we change and try other router and the same problem occurred. The networklayer.com said that the issue was related to siteground.com and siteground.com say since you are not one of our customer we cannot help you. So I try to dig a bit more and I found this: http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2453.html The maximum number of hops allowed for RIP is 15(see wikipedia about RIP). Could it be this? Since I don't have time to test with multiple router plug one after another from home to recreate the same scenario... Otherwise could create a trame with wireshark and modify the RIP ??? Leaving it without answer ;) -- Kevyn-Alexandre Paré On Mon, 2011-01-31 at 10:33 -0500, Kevyn-Alexandre Paré wrote: > Hi Laurent, > > Thanks, the issue seem related to the ns1.siteground15.com > > Will try to open ticket with siteground.com > > Best Regards, > > -- Kevyn-Alexandre Paré > > On Fri, 2011-01-28 at 08:38 -0500, Laurent Chouinard wrote: > > (Sorry for the repost, I accidentally clicked "Send"...) > > > > From what I can see here, most people's route to your site go through > > this networklayer.com router, which connects to your hosting properly: > > > > 11 72 ms 70 ms 70 ms po2.car11.hstntx2.networklayer.com > > [74.55.252.206] > > 12 68 ms 69 ms 69 ms ns1.siteground15.com [67.15.157.12] > > > > Kevyn, along with the online traceroute he provided, seems to be routed > > through a different router of networklayer.com, which then fails to > > reach your site: > > > > 9: po1.car12.hstntx2.networklayer.com (74.55.252.170) 120.325ms > > 10: no reply > > > > So it appears networklayer.com has improperly configured routers, or > > perhaps out of date or corrupt routing tables somewhere in their > > infrastructure.
