David, I have a usb camera connected to the gumstix, it just has to go through a powered USB hub (I'm trying to figure out a different cable config now). Subject: [Gumstix-users] Connecting a camera to gumstix overo fire hi, My university bought 5 gumstix overo fire with 2 summit boards and 5 pinto boards. the use is for kondo khr-3hv robot desined for robocup competition. we would like to connect camera to the gumstix. i read that there is: "Gumstix Overo COMs: 27-pin connector J5 to manage camera controls" but i cant find any camera that match, and the gumstix wount except any other camera via usb. can anyone explain how to connect a usb camera or which camera the gumstix supports? the hole project depend on the camera, and we are stuck.... p.s we work on 2 versions of linux: v9.6 & OpenEmbedded. thanks for the help, david |
