Thanks for the quick replys. I understand about putting the script in init.d and linking to it, but I don't understand where to link to it from. I don't actualy have to create a link. I can also just put the script in the correct spost and name it starting with an 'S' or 'K'. ex. K28MyShutdown or S30MyStartup. The question is, where do I put this script or link so that it gets ran on shutdown? I don't have an rc.d directory. I have rc0.d rc1.d, rc2.d, rc3.d, rc4.d, rc5.d, rc6.d, and rcS.d.
