Hi Trevor, I've had the same problem with Chestnut43 Board. The problem was that the ADS7846 was missing on the Board. Resulting kernel message: [ 291.757324] ads7846 spi1.0: touchscreen, irq 274 [ 291.757598] ads7846 spi1.0: no device detected, test read result was 0x000000 If you have a look at other posts in the internet you will notice that this error can even occur if the ADS7846 is soldered bad.
