Hi all, I have been trying to use GPIO114 as an output, and failing. I've checked the pinmux in u-boot (pin is set to Mode 4), and edited board-overo.c so that it is no longer used as OVERO_GPIO_PENDOWN. The kernel lets me export the pin to userspace and set it as an output. However setting it high or low has no effect. The kernel claims that the pin is set 'high' when I read it back after setting it, but it is still outputting 'low'. If set the pin as an input and attach a signal, I can read its state correctly. In case it is significant, I am currently running kernel 2.6.32. I have also tried setting the line as an output and driving it high in u-boot; this also appears to have no effect. I've set the pinmux and configuration for many other pins without problems; is there anything else 'special' about GPIO114 which prevents me from driving it as an output, or have I missed something hidden in the configuration files somewhere? I'm beginning to wonder whether the Gumstix has an input - only buffer or something else attached to this pin. Thanks in advance, Chris Cotton. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Using-GPIO114-as-output---can-it-be-done--tp29148075p29148075.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
