[Gumstix-users] Noise on Rx pin of ttyS2 (STUART)

hi everyone

I am running sertest on ttyS2 at 115200. I am able to transmit from my
verdex-pro but unable to receive.

Even when I touch my Rx pin with my finger or any metallic object I start
seeing gibberish being displayed on the screen. Nothing is connected to
either Rx or Tx pins.

I was facing this for a few hours. Now it displays nothing on touching the
Rx pin but receiving still doesn't work.

>From what I understand the resistor on the console UART (ttyS0) has noting
to do with this.
