Hmm, I'm not seeing how to proceed yet. My goal is to do option (1) that you list in your response. If I do the following: $ mkdir -p ~/overo-oe $ cd ~/overo-oe $ git clone git://gitorious.org/gumstix-oe/mainline.git org.openembedded.dev $ cd org.openembedded.dev $ git tag -l Then I would expect to see the list of past versions to checkout. Or even the current versions to checkout, but I get nothing at all in response. Even after I do the checkout: $ git checkout --track -b overo origin/overo I still get no response to a 'git tag -l'. What am I missing here?
