Hi, So I put the original factory kernel and rootfs back onto the gumstix and the microsd card works fine. I have dumped 5GB of data onto it without the failure. I will try it on another gumstix to see if it is just the combo of that kernel with a particular gumstix. Looks like it is the old kernel for me. Nigel.
