I only ever tested the i2c stuff with the robostix running at 100 kHz.

It seems like bus 3 on the overo defaults to 400 kHz.

So you might want to try adding i2c_bus=3,100 to the kernel command
line (there was a post about this on Jan 20).

I haven't tried this myself, so it's really just a shot in the dark.
