Success...I now have a compiling bitbake and was able to compile my hello world code. Turns out that using more recent builds of OSs is much more stable (I got exactly one error message during the entire compile on ububtu 9.10, which was solved by an 'apt-get install unzip'). This should probably be reflected in the wiki (so that it recommends ubuntu 9.x, fedora 12 rather than older versions of these distros). Now if only I could load it on my gumstix and test it (see new post that I'm adding separately since no longer relevant to this thread)... -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Compiling-Code-for-Overo-Boards-tp26974712p27013814.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
