I don't feel "robbed" but the console port would have been MUCH more useful in a plug-in development board than the OTG port. I could have done without the two push buttons (which if you do plug it into a breadboard for development you can't push those or the reset anyway - or see the LEDs) if that was needed to make room for the FTDI chip. Just my opinion but the reset should have been on top and it should have had a console port instead of the OTG port. I would have also liked to have seen the onboard signal level conversion on the SPI lines and TXD1, RXD1, and GPS_PPS instead of MMC3. Oh well.
