I think you can set the initial GPIO status within the u-boot code. ________________________________________ From: Donald Shrum [don...@ya...] Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 16:15 To: gum...@li... Subject: [Gumstix-users] GPIO / Verdex An easy question I hope. I'm using a Verdex Pro with GPSStix. I have an application that will run the command echo "GPIO out set" > /proc/gpio/GPIO63 This sets the voltage on the GPIO to 3.7 and via a small circuit closes a relay. All of this works great and "GPIO out clear" will open the relay. I believe the GPIO ports I'm using were designed for an LCD display. My problem is that on bootup the gumstix must be scanning those ports as the voltage rapidly fluxuates for a bried interval. This is not good as it rapidly opens and closes my relay and I don't want that. I know I've read there is some way to disable scanning those ports on bootup but I just can't find it in the nabble archives. Help??? Thanks guys, Donny |
