Ors, Thank you for the idea, I wish I could say that it worked :( I ran dd as you suggested, redid the formatting, etc and still got the invalid media type. Trying to sort out this problem has lead me to http://www.xora.org.uk/2009/08/14/omap3-sd-booting/ and tried the script on the page. It is a great script and now I am getting a different error that I am hopping that someone might be able to shed some light on, the new errors are: FAT: bogus number of reserved sectors. VFS: Can't find a valid FAT filesystem on dev mmcblk0 Again, thank you again any hints / suggestions!
