Thanks, that got me past that issue. I was able to build my project, although I got two packages named: helloworld-dev_1.0.0-r0_arm5te.ipk and helloworld-dbg_1.0.0-r0_arm5te.ipk instead of one file named: helloworld_1.0.0-r0_arm5te.ipk I was able to transfer both files to the gumstix file system using scp The first time I ran ipkg install, every thing seemed to go ok, but when I tried to run hello I got -sh: hello: not found When I ran ipkg again I got the following message: root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ ipkg install "helloworld-dev_1.0.0-r0_armv5te.ipk"Installing helloworld-dev (1.0.0-r0) to root... Configuring helloworld-dev Collected errors: Multiple packages (helloworld-dev and helloworld-dev) providing same name marked HOLD or PREFER. Using latest. root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ When I tried to remove it I got the following: root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ ipkg remove "helloworld-dev_1.0.0-r0_armv5te.ipk" No packages removed.
