Jing, do you have enough memory? My clean linux install is approx 5.5G. After I run the bitbake of the console image, which does work, I am using approx 28G of disk space. I am having issues however rebuilding the Nand image. I am using Ubuntu8.04. cheers a -----Original Message----- From: Jing Goh [mailto:jin...@st...] Sent: 07 August 2009 10:35 To: General mailing list for gumstix users. Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] HELP!! Stucked at bitbake build kernel process Hi Elvis, I have tried the 2 methods ( rebuild OR update, delete tmp, build) you suggested yesterday. But both of them didn't work out, it was stucked at a point again... I wonder if there is anything to do with the opensuse ( a friend suggested that it will be better if I use a more stable fully installed Linux) . Or is it something wrong with the previous steps I have taken.? Or maybe its conflicting with the previous bitbake built that I have done with the Verdex Pro, but it doesn't seem to be a problem to me because it is stored in different folder or directory... Any ideas?? Regards Ze ________________________________________ From: Elvis Dowson [elv...@ma...] Sent: 06 August 2009 18:58 To: General mailing list for gumstix users. There are instructions on the gumstix website specific to the Overo on how to reflash it. http://www.gumstix.net/Software/view/Software-Overo/Writing-images-to-on board-nand/111.html Best regards, Elvis ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
