Hi Everyone, I'm trying to generate a checksum for a few files but when I try to verify the checksum the md5sum utility seems to have problem recognizing the -c option. Could someone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly or could you point to another way of doing this? I'm using buildroot 1508. This is the print out: # echo "hi there" > test.txt # cat test.txt hi there # md5sum test.txt > CheckSum # cat CheckSum 12f6bb1941df66b8f138a446d4e8670c test.txt # md5sum -c CheckSum md5sum: -c: No such file or directory 8da0d148ca8f04395e5b03255c7c81d3 CheckSum Thanks, Rich -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/md5sum-problem-tp21337749p21337749.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
