Hello, I need to boot off a MMC card using the net duo module. I copied the gumstix-factory.script, ramdisk.img and uImage to the fat partition of the MMC card. After it finds the gumstix.factory script it fails on this error Found gumstix-factory.script on CF... ## Executing script at a2000000 Bad Magic Number I have already successfully loaded a filesystem from a CF card using the tutorial below: http://www.klc.net.nz/linux/?page_id=10 I have read similar posts about the bad magic number error but I have not found any to help me out. Just like the CF card I used the mkimage tool to generate my gumstix-factory.script. So the script has the binary scribble being written to the top of the gumstix-factory.script. I am also using the same tool to create my ramdisk.img according the tutorial. Is there anything I might be missing? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Bad-magic-number-MMC-card-connex-board-tp19975416p19975416.html Sent from the Gumstix mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
