Okay, I got 2 other SD cards, a 1GB and a 2GB. These _are_ recognized by U-Boot, whereas the 4GB SD card was not. So, there is a size limit after all. That would have been nice to know a week ago. But I'm still not out of the woods: U-Boot 1.2.0 (Dec 21 2007 - 13:37:16) - PXA270@600 MHz - 1578M *** Welcome to Gumstix *** DRAM: 128 MB Flash: 32 MB Using default environment Hit any key to stop autoboot: 0 GUM> mmcinit Detected: 1966080 blocks of 1024 bytes (1920MB) SD card. Vendor: Man 02 OEM TM "SD02G" Date 03/2008 Product: 2761069193 Revision: 3.2 MMC_STAT error 2948 GUM> Note the "MMC_STAT error 2948" error above. When I load this 2GB card with the vfat & ext2 filesystems, it still does not see the gumstix-factory.script file in the vfat partition. Does anyone know what this "MMC_STAT error 2948" error means? Do I have to continue trying different SD cards, or is the netmicroSD-vx board I have bad? Thx, Chuck |
