I'm trying to enable the PWC drivers for USB webcams on my OE verdex, r1578. I've read that the drivers are actually already in the kernel, just not enabled, and that I can enable them by going to this folder (where the kernel .config file is): ~/gumstix/gumstix-oe/tmp/work/gumstix-custom-verdex-angstrom-linux- gnueabi/gumstix-kernel-2.6.21-r1/linux-2.6.21 ...and then building the menuconfig tool by typing: $ make ARCH=arm menuconfig The make command generates about 1000 errors trying to compile things and finally aborts. What am I doing wrong? Chuck |
