In my struggle to get my Gumstix/Robostix system working I ended up trying a builtroot image and recompiling my software for it. Lo and behold it works. I've tried all sorts of kernel configs, stripping everything I could out of the images and nothing seemed to work with the somewhat recent OE revisions I was using. Buildroot just worked which means as far as I can tell somewhere along the line I2C got broken in OE. OE is sure a lot nicer to use, but it looks like I'll be on buildroot until this gets fixed. --zack zackbass wrote: > > I'm also getting the same i2c errors frequently.
