Hello all, I've pretty much given up on trying to get the USB connection from the 24-pin connector on my verdex. That said, I borrowed a friends consoleVX board and conformed that the second port works. Studying the schematics for that board, I've found that the D+ and D- are essentially passed directly from the hirose connector to the USB port. Since this has been proven to work on my board, could I use those from, say, a tweener? IE: do some fancy soldering with the vias on a tweener to get a USB port (power, gound coming from other points on the tweener). Would this method still work if I was also using a robostix with this stack (getting the power from the robostix board, but still using the USB data lines form the tweener)? I'm guessing that, like the robostixaudio, that the USB lines from the hirose connector are not connected to anything. Thanks, Mike Caruso |
