Hi, I am quite new to the gumstix community and have the following problem with my current gumstix setup (Verdex XL6P, Console-VX, Netwifi-microSD). I have not found any valuable information in the archives regarding my problem with the wifi module. Even though there were a lot of entries regarding wifi problems with the netwifi-microSD. I flashed my gumstix to the current OE version (309) and also tried with the latest pre-built image. During boot with wlan0 enabled the gumstix just hangs and does not recover. Unplugging from power and uncommenting all wlan0 related entries in /etc/network/interfaces is the only way I get successfully through the boot process, but then obviously without any wlan interface... The board revision seems to be not one of the faulty charges with WBH4245. It is a WB4245 PCB10039-R1700. I tried the MarvellR 88W8385 wifi chip (which actually becomes quite hot) on a connex board of a friend of mine, and there everything works fine. I attached the boot log with wlan0 enabled at the end of this message. Does anyone has a clue or knows how I could proceed? Thanks a lot in advance for any help! Cheers, Jens Starting kernel ...
