I am following step by step on my Ubuntu 7.10 machine to download the gumstix build trunk and I get the PROPFIND request failed as follow: > svn co https://gumstix.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gumstix/trunk gumstix-oe > svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svnroot/gumstix/trunk' > svn: PROPFIND of '/svnroot/gumstix/trunk': could not connect to server (https://gumstix.svn.sourceforge.net A Google search on this problem tells me "the Subversion server is using a server certificate from a non-trusted authority (i.e., they created it themselves)" and I have to "go into the repo-browser and navigate to the Subversion server URL. This time you'll get prompted to accept the server certificate (permanently) and to enter your username and password". Being a total Linux/Ubuntu/subversion illiterate, can somebody kindly tell me how to fix this problem in Ubuntu 7.10 in simple terms. Thanks in advance |
