Hi, I repasted this older msg with my new question so it starts off on its own (clean) thread... I have a question about the directfb mentioned below. I have not done much with fb's before. Can this code be compiled as a stand alone executable or do I have to download and flash a complete OS (I just finished getting the latest one installed and running). I was just looking for some ways to explore and learn about the capabilities of the Samsung LCD Also - is there a faster way to download a new file system instead of the 115200 baud kermit method? thanks 'mark Steve Sakoman wrote: >> I compiled and ran the gumstix-directfb-image.bb.
