Hi Steve, After changing stuff in machine features (com.gumstix.collection/conf/machine/gumstix-custom-conex.conf) do I need to do a full rebuild ? Just wondering because I tried both a bitbake yuvraj-glibc-image .and. bitbake -c rebuild Yuvraj-glibc-image and the Bluetooth stuff was still in there, despite me having commented out the line in the file mentioned above. Just a suggestion : It might be useful to put a page on the WiKi or just some instructions on when a "-c rebuild image_name" suffices and when a complete clean build (by removing "tmp") is needed. cheers Yuvraj -----Original Message----- From: gum...@li... Replace (and remove) dropbear and use openssh instead The openssh package isn't currently in the repository, but I just added it to the autobuilder. So in a day or so you could: ipkg remove dropbear ipkg install openssh If you want to make the above changes in an image, then you will likely have to override the busybox and task-base-gumstix recipes. An exercise left to the reader :-) > So, if I wanted to *remove* alsa/audio support, *remove* Bluetooth support > from my build where could I customize that ? In com.gumstix.collection/conf/machine/gumstix-custom-verdex.conf comment out the bluetooth and sound MACHINE_FEATURES Steve > > thanks! > Yuvraj > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft > Defy all challenges.
