That looks to me like one of the pre-packaged patches failed. Most likely the patch doesn't match the source the patch was meant to be used with. You could read through the patch file and figure out what line of code failed to patch and see if you can manually apply the change to the mmc.c file. This may not be a difficult option. Make the intended change if you can and then re-run make and cross your fingers.
