[Gumstix-users] Newbie questions about updating

Hi all.
I've been given a gumstix connex for a little project.

My connex reports DISTRIB_RELEASE='1078'. Should i consider updating to the 
latest svn version before i get into developing?

The installed uBoot is 1.1.4. Does it need an update as well?
