I'm using Ubuntu from a VMware windows guest and have no problem ssh'ing into my gumstix. Have you otherwise verified that you have network connectivity to it (the gumstix that is). For example, can you use putty from Windows to ssh into the gumstix? -M. -----Original Message----- From: gum...@li... Do you guys know if there's a problem with using VMWare Player on a windows guest for ssh connections? I've been trying to connect to the gumstix through Fedora, and to Fedora from the gumstix and no luck yet. I assigned an IP to the gumstix using ifconfig, but when I ran ssh to connect to it from Fedora, the connection timed out. When I ran ssh from the gumstix, it didn't even find the address.
